I det diagrammet ser vi dygnsmedeltemperaturen i oktober fram t.o.m. idag. Det som \u00e4r intressant i detta \u00e4r, att vi nu har haft 4 dygn p\u00e5 raken med en dygnsmedeltemperatur under +10\u00b0. Om det kommande dygnets medeltemperatur ocks\u00e5 stannar under +10\u00b0, s\u00e5 uppfylls kriterierna f\u00f6r att vi g\u00e5r in i meteorologisk h\u00f6st fr.o.m. det f\u00f6rsta av dessa 5 dygn, d.v.s. 19 oktober. I annat fall s\u00e5 forts\u00e4tter vi i meteorologisk sommar, och kalendarisk h\u00f6st.
